For private individuals

Is it free for me?

Yes, completely free. You can search, compare, get in touch and leave a review at no cost whatsoever. Promastro takes nothing from the jobs.

Do I have to sign up to contact a professional?

You can browse listings without signing up. To send a message or leave a review, a free registration is required (useful for limiting spam and allowing the professional to reply to you).

How do you verify that the professionals really exist?

At registration, we verify the VAT number via the European Commission’s VIES system. No valid VAT number, no registration. We also offer professionals an optional identity verification (KYC), indicated by a badge on their listing.

What should I do if a professional doesn’t reply?

Each professional has a response rate displayed on their listing. If they don’t reply within a reasonable time, you can contact another professional. You can also report a lack of responsiveness via the “Report” button on the listing.

Are the reviews reliable?

All reviews are moderated: automatic AI anti-spam and anti-abuse filtering, human checks after the fact, and the option for the professional to reply publicly. Detected fake reviews are removed and the associated account is sanctioned.

How do I delete my account?

From your dashboard, “My profile” tab. See the detailed procedure.


For professionals

How much does it cost?

Three plans: Base (€19/month), Medium (€29/month), Max (€49/month), with a discount of around −17% for annual payment. Details on the pricing page. 0% commission on jobs.

How long does the free trial last?

30 days on the monthly plan, 4 months (≈ 120 days) on the annual plan. No commitment, cancel anytime from the dashboard. Details.

Why do you ask for my bank card for a free trial?

To set up the direct debit mandate for when the trial ends. A pre-authorisation of €0.01 is applied and then refunded. No trial fees are charged.

I don’t have a VAT number — can I still sign up?

No. Registration requires an active Belgian VAT number. This requirement guarantees the quality of the directory and filters out illegitimate accounts.

What happens if I don’t have time to fill in my listing?

You can automatically generate a first version of your description from a few details (categories, years of experience, service area). You can then fine-tune it. The NL/EN translation is also automatic.

Does my data leave the country?

Data is stored in the EU (Germany, hosting provider Contabo). Only the use of the Claude AI (Anthropic, USA) involves a transfer, governed by the European Standard Contractual Clauses — solely for moderation, search and translation, never for advertising. See the privacy policy.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Upgrades are immediate (with pro-rata calculation), downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.

Are the invoices compliant for my accounting?

Yes: the invoice complies with Belgian tax law. The invoice is transmitted via the PEPPOL network for valid Belgian VAT numbers (B2B compliance 2026); the number can be viewed from the dashboard, “My payments” tab.
