All references to the “Site” in these legal notices, in the Terms of Use, the Terms of Sale, and other legal pages refer to the website promastro.be and all its subdomains operated by the publisher.
Note: during the transition period (May 2026), the service will also remain accessible via the legacy domains promastro.be and promastro.be, which automatically redirect to promastro.be upon completion of the technical migration.

ProMastro is a professional directory connecting individuals and Belgian businesses (craftsmen, handymen, multi-service providers). The service is an intermediary for connecting parties: ProMastro does not intervene in transactions between users and does not charge any commission on services rendered.
Registration is free for visitors. Publication of a professional listing is subject to a paid subscription (see Terms of Sale).
7. Intellectual Property
All editorial content on the Site (texts, illustrations, graphic design, logos, source code, structured databases) is protected by copyright, neighboring rights, and database rights. Unless expressly stated otherwise, this content remains the exclusive property of the publisher or rights-holding partners. Any reproduction, representation, distribution, exploitation, or substantial extraction, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization, is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal prosecution.
Photos, descriptions, and content published by listed professionals or by visitors (reviews) remain the property of their authors, who warrant that they hold the necessary rights and grant ProMastro a non-exclusive license for the purpose of operating the Site (see Terms of Use, art. 9).

The processing of personal data is governed by the privacy policy, in compliance with the Règlement général sur la protection des données (RGPD / General Data Protection Regulation — Regulation EU 2016/679) and the Loi du 30 juillet 2018 relative à la protection des personnes physiques à l’égard des traitements de données à caractère personnel (Belgian law of July 30, 2018, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data).

10. Terms of Use and Sale
Use of the Site constitutes full and complete acceptance of the General Terms of Use. Subscription to a professional plan is further governed by the General Terms of Sale.
11. Moderation of Content and Reviews
The moderation rules for reviews and content published on the Site are detailed in the moderation charter, in accordance with article VI.45/1 of the Code de droit économique belge (Belgian Economic Law Code) regarding the transparency of online reviews.
12. Consumer Mediation
In accordance with articles XVI.1 et seq. of the Code de droit économique belge (Belgian Economic Law Code), consumers may, in the event of a dispute that could not be resolved amicably with the publisher, use a free alternative dispute resolution mechanism:

- Judicial Proceedings — failing an amicable resolution, the competent Belgian courts as set out in article 13 below.
Note: the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, previously accessible at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/, was permanently shut down on July 20, 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). The reference to the former ODR platform has therefore been removed. Consumers can follow developments in European ADR/MARC on the European Commission’s Consumer Redress in the EU portal.
The publisher undertakes to examine all complaints and respond within a reasonable time.
13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These legal notices, as well as all contractual and pre-contractual relationships between the publisher and Site users, are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district of the publisher’s registered office, except where mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise (particularly in consumer law matters).

Reports are reviewed promptly and a response is sent to the person who submitted the report.
