6. Looking for a professional?
To contact a tradesperson, a service provider or a specific Pro listed on ProMastro, go directly to their listing: there you will find their phone number, the built-in message form, and where available their WhatsApp number or links to their social media.
As ProMastro is a simple matchmaking intermediary, the team cannot intervene in a private transaction, pass your contact details on to the Pro on your behalf, or comment on the quality of a service. For conflicts or disputes with a Pro, see §9 below.
7. Are you a pro who wants to get listed?
Registration takes place entirely online, in three simple steps (VAT verification via VIES → personal and business information → choice of plan), with a free trial period of 30 days (monthly plan) or 4 months (annual plan). No actual payment is collected during this period.
To get started, you need:
1. A valid Belgian VAT number (BE0XXXXXXXXX or BE1XXXXXXXXX);
2. A business email address;
3. A bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Bancontact) to validate the direct debit mandate (symbolic pre-authorisation of 0,01 €, refunded).
8. Reporting illegal content (DSA)
In accordance with European Regulation 2022/2065 of 19 October 2022, known as the “Digital Services Act” (DSA), applicable since 17 February 2024, any user may report manifestly illegal content to ProMastro (defamation, invasion of privacy, counterfeiting, criminally punishable content, etc.).
8.1 Reporting channels
“Report” button: available on every professional listing and on every published review — please use this channel for traceability purposes;
Dedicated email: contact@promastro.be with the subject line “DSA report — [Type of content]”.
8.2 Review and time limits
Every report received is reviewed as quickly as possible — within a maximum of 48 hours for a preliminary review and 15 days for a reasoned decision. The person who submitted the report systematically receives a response (except in the case of manifestly abusive reports). See the moderation charter for details of the procedure.
9. Mediation and dispute resolution
9.1 Prior amicable complaint
In the event of a dispute with ProMastro, a prior amicable complaint must be sent to direction@promastro.be. ProMastro undertakes to respond within 30 days and to seek a solution acceptable to both parties.
9.2 Belgian mediation
In accordance with Articles XVI.1 et seq. of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, if the amicable complaint does not lead to a resolution, consumers may use an out-of-court dispute resolution mechanism free of charge:
Consumer Mediation Service (official Belgian body)
Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels
Tel.: +32 (0)2 702 52 20 — Email: contact@mediationconsommateur.be
Website: mediationconsommateur.be
9.3 Court proceedings
Failing an amicable or mediated resolution, the competent Belgian courts shall have jurisdiction (see the legal notice, §13).
10. Conflicts between Visitors and Pros
As ProMastro is a simple intermediary, commercial conflicts between a Visitor and a listed Pro (quality of a service, price, defective work, non-payment) are settled directly between the two parties, where applicable with the help of:
1. The Consumer Mediation Service (see §9.2) if the Pro is a professional and the customer is a consumer;
2. An arbitration chamber if an arbitration clause was included in the private contract;
3. The competent civil or commercial courts depending on the status of the parties.
ProMastro may, in the event of serious repeated breaches by a Pro confirmed by several reports or decisions, suspend or terminate their account (see the terms of use, §8 and §11.8).
